iOS 8 on iPad keyboard shortcuts crash

another member complained of this last week, and I've noticed it too. On my iPad Air 2 running the most recent iOS 8 update, my settings crash when I try to open Settings/General/Keyboard/Shortcuts -- rebooting the iPad doesn't fix it. My iPhone, also running the same iOS update, doesn't show this issue. thinkng it might have somerhing to do with third-party keyboards, I deleted all third party keyboards and did a hard reset. Same result. I've also noticed that despite changing my shortcuts on the iPad previously they've reverted to old shortcuts and because I can't access the shortcuts menu from the Keyboard settings I'm unable to correct this. I've changed the shortcuts on my other iOS devices but they're also reverting randomly to previous shortcuts which leads me to believe that the iCloud sync for settings has become corrupted. Any thoughts?
