Why screen saver changes

I set my screen saver in preferences to use my iPhoto library. After running for a while, it reverts to Nat'l Geographic. Tired of it converting to NG, I tried removing NG in hopes it would stay with iPhoto library. Screen now changes to black w/message unable to find library. How do I change permanently?
