I just bought my Mac Mini(Late 2014). Trying to connect it to my acer monitor via HDMI cable and HDMI to DVI adapter. But it's not working, monitor shows "no signal" message(Cable and adapter are working perfect with my PC). If I connect Mac to TV via the same HDMI cable, all working good.
Can you help me, please. Thanks.

They said that I have to buy original Apple HDMI-to-DVI adapter.
What specific adopter do you now have?
ordinary nameless adapter HDMI(f) to DVI-D Dual Link(f) for $5
What specific monitor? What inputs are available?

there are VGA and DVI-D inputs
I would get a good HDMI (f) to DVI adopter and get a DVI cable to connect to the monitor.
I'll try buy mini-DP to DVI adapter. HDMI will stay for connection to TV.
It's strange that hdmi-to-dvi is not working with my mac.
