Got a new phone but now my daughters iPad lost info?

i Ended up getting a new phone... Android because of cost but since then my daughters iPad is all messed up and she can't log into FT and she lost some app data... Any thoughts? When I got my new phone they kept my old one and appeared to reformat it...
