Hello...I want to update some softwares in app store..but I cannot do it because my iphone 4 has old user id...How do I change old user id to new user id while updating the softwares.
I have signed in with my new user id in app store & icloud...still when I want to update then there is a old app id which is poppoing up, I am not able to change it. So please advise me experts....
Apps will always be tied to the account from which they were purchased and they will always have to be updated using that account.
You need to delete the apps that are associated with the Apple ID if it is not yours and re-purchase or (if free) re-download them.
If it is an old Apple ID that you used but cannot remember, you can go to FORGOT APPLE ID to retrieve it. You can then go to Manage your Apple ID to update the password: Apple - My Apple ID
If you cannot remember the Security Questions, you can have Apple Support reset them for you:
