iPhoto to wireless storage to iPhone?

Hello all,

I'm looking for a way to transfer photos from my iPhoto library to my iPhone individually as needed. Ideally, I would like to upload a bunch of my iPhoto images to a wireless storage space and then access that storage on my phone and download certain pictures when I need them. I know that I can sync pictures directly with a USB, but I don't want to have hundreds of pictures transferred to my phone at once and doing it individually as needed would just be tedious and inefficient (same with emailing pics).

I've been trying to do this with iCloud, but I haven't found a way to access and download photos from iCloud using my phone.

Any suggestions for how to use iCloud properly or for any other wireless storage I can access with my phone?
