Turn on call forwarding using different iPhone

I am selling my iPhone5 in 2 days. But, my new iPhone will arrive in 10 days or so. My plan is to forward all my calls to my husband's number using my old iPhone.

Willl it be possible for me to turn off the forwarding when the new phone arrives. My phone is gsm prepaid and I will have my old SIM card with me.

When you get your new phone and put your old SIM in it, you should be able to turn off call forwarding.
