Ya know, the delimiter thing, a single straight line inserted by tapping '-' three times in Word documents. Cant find a similar way in iPages except inserting a line shape. Now my work makes it compulsory to insert delimiters after the titles. So, is there any way?

Are you talking about En dashes – and Em dashes —?
Copy them from here or use:
Menu > Edit > Special Characters
Then set up Auto Substitution for your 3 dashes in a row, in:
System Preferences > Keyboard > Text > Replace/With

I can't seem to set special characters. There are smilies and etc. etc, not what I'm looking for. The keyboard preferences might be of some use but I wasn't able to use it. The thing I'm talking about is the long single line Word inserts when you type the dash symbol three times and hit the return key. Try it out yourself to get an idea. Its a single long line from the left margin to right end.
The steps are as I said:
Menu > then… Edit > then… Special Characters
What you are asking in your second post, actually sounds like one of two things;
1. Borders & Rules Above/Below Paragraph
or
2. A Leading Tab using the _ underscore character as the lead across the page to a tab on the right

Perhaps you want a border beneath a title?
With the cursor in the title paragraph, Format Panel > Text > Borders and Rules
