Q: Installed RDC update 3.8.2 v1.1, now incredibly slow

This is on a Mac Mini Server (Mid-2011) core i5, running Mavericks, but the same happened when it was running Yosemite.

Running perfectly normally pre-update, but once this update was installed, performance on Remote Desktop substantially degraded to nearly the point of unusability.  Also, the Mini is now throwing significantly greater heat (and this may have been the source of some serious overheat issues afflicting the Mac Mini these past few days, which gave me reason to downgrade from Yosemite to Mavericks).

Machines are connecting to this that also have the update.  Note that network performance is not the source of the issue.

My recommendation is DO NOT INSTALL.  Now, does anyone know how to easily uninstall and baseline back to the previous?

Do a backup. Boot to the Recovery Volume (command - R on a restart or hold down the option/alt key during a restart and select Recovery Volume). Run Disk Utility Verify/Repair and Repair Permissions until you get no errors. Then restore from your backup.
