iTunes store not working

So, when I go to the iTunes store, I see that sort of thing; no covers for the music. Also, when I try to download songs that I purchased, it tells me that an error has occurred and the songs disappear from my 'Purchased' list and appear in my music grayed out with an exclamation mark next to them. This occurs on multiple devices on which I have iTunes.
Does anybody have any idea how to deal with this?

I understand that the iTunes Store on your Windows computer is not populating album data or your purchase history as you would expect. To begin troubleshooting, I would first suggest working through the steps located in the attached article.
