i never had this problem before and I just bought a brand new iPhone 6, 128gb. This has been happening all day on a couple of apps and I just happened to take a picture of it.
this has happened on something like my gallery for instance as well, so I know it's not just the game. Should I return the new iPhone already and make them send me a new one? Or is this fixable?

Seems that a 3rd party app installed add ware as well. If you don't know which app to delete, set it back to factory settings:
Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings - Apple Support
Has the phone been jailbroken?
Its not jail broken. II'll uninstall the apps then that my last phone didn't have (I did download a couple new games) and see if that helps. If not I'll try the factory reset. Thank you 🙂
