Cannot Sync Music/Music Greyed Out

Hi everyone,

I'm currently using a Iphone 6 Plus on 8.1.3. and the latest version of iTunes on Windows 8.

Whenever I try to sync my music to my Iphone, nothing gets transferred. The Iphone shows up in iTunes, but when I go to "What's On My Device" and check the Music section, all the songs are greyed out with a dotted circle next to them.

I did some research on this issue and tried various methods to fix it, such as turning off iTunes Match and deleting my Library, but nothing has worked so far. I understand that this may be a issue with the software and no available fix is ready yet. The funny thing is that my pictures synced just fine.

Any insight on this issue?
