my son recently passed away his ipad air2 is fully disabled with no back ups is their any way to get data off it even if it means destroying unit anyway at all HELP PLEASE!!

I'm sorry for your loss, but there is no way to enable the device without erasing it and if no backup exists, no data can be restored.
