Mar 3, 2015 6:15 AM in response to seestermomby rkaufmann87,It is likely a failed GPU, take it into your local Apple Store or visit an Apple Authorized Service Provider (AASP.) You can find an AASP in your area by clicking AppleCare Contact Info

Mar 3, 2015 6:24 AM in response to rkaufmann87by seestermom,Gulp. I'm assuming GPU is the graphics processor. I can still view videos, so I'm assuming you mean failing, not failed, so I have a little grace time before it dies completely. Do you know whether replacing it will take weeks of sitting in the shop or something they can do while I wait?

Mar 15, 2015 10:25 AM in response to Zapperlotby seestermom,I took mine to the Apple store. It was the GPU. Although my 3-year extended warranty expired on Feb 5, and the problem started showing up on Feb 18, they are fixing it under warranty. I won't know if there are any other problems until they do the actual repair.
