Daisy Chain two Dell U2414H Monitors

Hi,

I've been having issues with connecting two external monitors to my Mid 2012 Macbook Pro Retina. I have two Dell U2414H monitors and I wanted to daisy chain them together so that they are both running of a single thunderbolt port. I need a second one for the ethernet use.

So far, I've connected my first monitor via miniDisplay port to DisplayPort cable. Then, I connected second monitor to the first via DisplayPort (out on 1st monitor to DisplayPort (in on 2nd monitor). I made sure display port 1.2 was turned on on both monitors. They both work, but the screens are mirrored. I use my macbook in clamshell mode. I can not get the to be two separate displays, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I forgot to mention that I'm running Yosemite 10.10.2.

Thanks.
