iMac to MacBook Pro bluetooth sharing internal error

I am trying to transfer files from my Macbook Pro to my new iMac both have bluetooth sharing on and are paired with each other when i try to send any files the window says internal error. How can i fix this?

iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2013), OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)
