Is there an reasonably-priced icloud backup service that works with the Mac Mini Server?
I'm looking to backup 3 HDs attached to the Mac Mini Server (about 3TB total) to an icloud service. Does anyone have any recommendations?

3TB is alot of data... you're better off doing local/offsite backups
Plus you need really fast internet service for cloud backups.
I recommend Backblaze for the cloud https://www.backblaze.com/cloud-backup.html
Read today's Wall Street Journal. They tested several.
I like iDrive. I use the free 5 GB plan for my important stuff. TM machine for everything, periodic clones and periodic backup of photos and documents to another drive.
Unfortunately the iDrive just doesn't have the capacity I need.
I tried BackBlaze and it estimated 1,600 days to back up that much data!
No, I haven't checked our transfer speed yet but some of the trials for some of the backup plans estimated over 3 years to backup 3TB. Carbonite looked promising but it's not configured to work with the Mac Mini Server.
Then check your transfer speed before you decide on such a method, you don't even know if online backup is viable.
FYI
I have 500Mb/s (download) and 100Mb/s (upload) and that is way faster than most consumer connections, it's still rather slow compared to local methods.
Do NOT consider Carbonite, it's terrible!
iDrive offers express service when you initially send them a HD with your backup, then backup incementally via internet. They also will ship a HD back to restore from.
Yes, I know. But I have not used that service, it looks good though.
You seem to be unable to agree to any of these recommendations based on the 'estimates' for the upload times. These will vary wildly based on how busy your internet connection is & if you have enabled any throttling in the app etc.
Have you considered doing an actual test?
Create a 1GB folder with of a mixture of your files, sign up for each service, see how long it takes to upload the same folder, disable each service (or uninstall) after each backup to be sure it isn't stealing throughput from other services.
You may be able to do it using the free trials.
Another option is Arq (which uses Amazon S3, Glacier or Dropbox).

You may be better off asking a neighbour to store a NAS that you can sync over wifi if the internet is too slow for the data - how often does the 3TB change too, offsite may be impractical for all of it with large change sets & a slow connection.
It looks like iDrive might be the best option. I will have to send them the initial data on a HD but that shouldn't be a problem. Thanks everyone for your help!
