Re key framing -- where is the old wireframe?

In the 'old' Final Cut, when one wanted to zoom in/zoom out/move a clip, you clicked and got a wireframe that you could manipulate, and by adding keyframes you could easily control where an how the image would appear to move.

Now you don't get a wireframe -- you have to manually set each parameter, which seems tedious.

Am I missing something, is the old wireframe feature really missing, or is it that I just can't find out how to turn it on in FCP X?

select the Crop Tool under the Preview window, select Ken Burns effect.....

FCPX sets keyframes automatically - no number typing. That's more the engineers approach 😀

Hit the transform icon lower left of the Viewer. Change display percentage if you can't see the OSC. Set keyframes and adjust parameters either in the Viewer or in the Inspector,
