ever since I got the latest version of ITunes I get this problem. Its great that you have fixed the automatic downloading of the pre-ordered movies, but now I get two physical copies downloaded to my Mac.
Both movies play just fine, but I think that's a bug in iTunes

Are they HD films that you pre-ordered and you are getting the HD and SD versions downloading ?

This is also a tiresome problem affecting preordered music. I think it's an iTunes Store bug.
