Mar 3, 2015 11:39 AM in response to limeboyjoeby rccharles,Did you buy anything with your old itunes account? I believe all you bought is tied to the account you bought the stuff from. This stuff cannot be moved to a new account. Suggest you recover your old account. Try logging to your old account from a web browser. You will find some ways of recovering your old account on the password screen.
Write down all your accounts and passwords on a piece of paper. Put in a safe place.

hi, its the same itunes account, but a different password that i cant rememberWhat you describe is impossible. You can only have one password per Apple Idt.
Here is what I assume.
You created a new apple id. You can have as many as you wish. This isn't the problem and irrelevant to your problem.
You need to use your old account. You forgot the password. Try typing in our old appleid here and request to reset the password.
see forgot my password:
You can signout on your idevice an apple id.
setting > iTunes & App Store
You Apple Id is in blue tap on it.
Tap on sign out.
Write all you passwords and accounts on a piece paper. Secure.

The ipad will take your new password for the apple id.
There are two different locking mechanisms: passcode, prevents access to your data, and activation lock, prevents use of device if stolen.
If the passcode is set & forgotten , you can reload from backup or wipe ( first typed whip ) the device.
iPhone or iPad locked from incorrect passcode.
If you enter the wrong passcode six or more times, you'll see a message that says Ipad is disabled.See how to restore from backup. No back up on your computer, click on the triangle before "If you have never synced your device with iTunes, or you do not have access to a computer"

http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT1212The problem arises when someone sets the activation lock which is set by logging onto your apple id then setting the appropriate option. DEP is the preferred preventative. It established your organization as the owner. The student cannot set an activation log.
