Cellular Data Usage Incorrectly Shows 0 Bytes

I'm trying to figure out which apps are using up my data. I read that I should be able to go into the Cellular Data Usage section under Cellular in settings to see this, but for some reason my phone is only showing 0 bytes in those boxes. I reset the statistics, but that didn't solve it either, as I've been using the phone all morning and it still says 0 bytes. Is this a known issue and is there a fix to get it to actually track my data usage? I used nearly 23GB last month and have been tethering from my phone all morning, so I know I'm using cellular data...

Thanks again. I did the settings reset - tried network settings first (no luck) and then went with the the full reset, and unfortunately it still seems to be stuck on 0 bytes. Hoping I don't need to do the full restore, but suspect that may be my next step. Do you (or anyone else) have this issue? I haven't been able to find anyone else indicating the 0 bytes value showing in there in my Google searches.

I have the same problem. My data was off the charts last month so I started trying to figure out which app was the cause, only to find out that my cellular data usage doesn't move from "0" and I only have 2 apps listed under "use cellular data for" and neither of them show the amount of data they've actually used. I've looked at other phones that have an entire list full of apps in this section. So far i've tried...

1. different combinations of turning wifi off/on, cell data off/on, airplain mode off/on

2. restarting the phone the short and the long way

3 wiping my phone and restoring from back up

4. replaced my phone iphone 5 with an iphone 6

The last one I thought would surely fix it.. new phone!!! but nope 😟 new iphone 6 has the same issue. it's a bug with 8.3 or something corrupt about my apple ID/Profile????

Since I had a recently purchased iPhone 6 I was able to take advantage of the free (for a limited time) Apple support to help resolve this issue. Basically, the system settings have been corrupted overtime through multiple OS updates. To fix this issue, we had to...

1. Ensure that we had a good back-up (I made sure that iCloud had things like my Calendar, Notes and Contacts.)

2. Plugged the phone into iTunes to manually backup pictures and video's to my computer

3. Reset the phone and deleted all data.

4. Upon the reboot of the phone after the reset, Choose "setup as a new iPhone" NOT restore from backup. (this ensures that the corrupted system settings stored in your backup that you don't see will not be re-downloaded to your freshly wiped/reset device).

5. Calendar, Notes and Contacts etc, will automatically be restored from the iCloud like normal once you sign in using your Apple ID. You will have to re-download apps and pictures/videos.

Hope this helps. 🙂
