What other device? Also, if your profile is correct (iOS 5.1.1) I suggest you update your ipad.

I Have 8.1.3 and I want to transfer music to my Kindle Fire.
I am sorry, but I do not know anything about a kindle. Non-apple devices are outside my envelope 😐
