Trying to delete unplayed podcasts.

When I got a new computer I had to install the newer version of iTunes. After finally getting my iPod to sync, I have a new problem. I can't figure out how to delete podcasts that I don't want to listen to. I have some duplicate podcasts and some best of that I just want to delete. This was very easy to do in the older version. I can't seem to find the trick with this newer version. Any help would be appreciated.
