Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
If you are in the need of downloading a previously purchased book, then you will be using the iBooks app to do so, rather than iTunes.
Books
Follow these steps to download purchased books:
- Tap iBooks. If you're using iBooks 3.2 or earlier, tap Store.
- Tap Purchased from the bottom navigation bar.
- Tap the book that you want to download.
