applecare covers part replacements but not a mere loose part?

My mac started acting up. Took it for service to an authorized repair center, and now i am been told i should pay for the repair because the RAM has symply came loose. I cant find anything about it on termas and conditions. Does anyone unos ir this is how it should be? Find it a little strage that i should pay for this after paying 300+ dollars for applecare.

Applecare typically does not cover accidental damage. It sounds like they "MAY" be interpreting the loose ram as being loose due to impact?? Not sure. You should definitely ask for an explanation.
