Windows and RAM
If I bought a 2gig memory computer and installed Windows 7 ultimate will the 2gigs of memory required be erased or will it just be saved for the system you're using at the time?

If you use Bootcamp, you are rebooting to switch between the OSes, so each OS will use the full memory physically available.
Virtualization uses memory between the host and guest OSes simultaneously.
