Stolen IPhone 5

The iphone 5 no longer has service on it and it was stolen earlier today. My question is there a way that I can locate it still? I upgraded to a 6plus. That's why no service on the 5. Thanks

If you have Find My iPhone configured and activated on iPhone 5 before the lost, try

Note: To track iPhone, see below

1. iPhone must have Internet connection (cellular or Wi-Fi)

2. iPhone is not switched off

3. iPhone battery is not dead

Well thieves are getting smarter.

I hope you have Find My iPhone ON, since IOS 7 the thief will not be able to reset/restore the iPhone without your Apple ID & password.

It's called Activation Lock.

Awesome! My son was using it for music,etc. He has a screen lock code on it. Left it in the gym at school and someone lifted it. It's actually my wife's phone and she said it was find iPhone was turned on. We'll have to wait and see what happens. Thanks again for replying
