I have a bucket load (literatly) of temperature data that I have charted on a line graph. There is some jitter in the readings and I would like to present the results as an averaged trend line. No problem so far, but how do I then hide the original line graph? I want to only keep the trend line.
I am runing the latest version of Numbers.
Numbers-OTHER, OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)
You can click the series in the chart choose None for the Connection Line and Data Symbol here:

Yours looks like a older version though? I'm on 3.5 and my only options for the connection line is 'straight' or 'curved'.
(The language is Swedish btw)
Hi a00n,
To get None for Connection Lines, use a Scatter Plot. Data must be in Body Columns (or Rows) not Header Columns (or Header Rows)

I'm using Numbers 3.5.2. This can be done with line charts too:
The left column is a Header Column. This is a 2D Line chart. I gave it a trend line.
Then I click on the series (not the whole chart) and, as in my screenshots, go to Style tab (not the Series tab):
Just the trend line left now:

I must delve deeper into the Format Panel. Still finding features that we thought were "missing" (but were only "hiding") in Numbers 3.0 🙂.

Thanks all! In the end I exported the graph to Illustrator and cleaned it up there.
