HOw do i sync my contacts from my imac to my itunes account?
An iTunes account does not contain contacts.
Are you asking how to use those same contacts that are on your Mac on an iOS device? The answer would be to house those contacts in iCloud. Then, since you use the same Apple ID on your Mac as your iOS devices (you do this, right?), your iCloud account is available on all these devices.
