I've had issues with my podcasts, all of them are skipping so that the audio is not understandable. I can play the same podcasts on my computer and everything is fine, just an issue when listening on the phone. I have deleted all the podcasts on my phone and tried reinstalling them from iTunes, but issue reoccurs. I have the most up to date OS on the phone and computer. Please advise.

Try reseting your phone. Press and hold both the home and sleep buttons for 10 seconds or so until the Apple logo appears. You won't lose any data.
If that doesn't help then you can either restore your phone from a backup or restore it as new. If you still have problems have your phone examined at an Apple store.

I solved it! When listening to a podcast, on the bottom right hand corner of the phone there is a "Speed" button. You can change it to 0.5, 1, 1.5 and 2. Not sure why this feature exists, but the speed was set to 0.5 for some reason, likely I touched it by accident. Thus, the audio seemed to skip and play back in an odd manner. Fixed now!
