my device showing invalid sim card what is the problem

sir i have a iphone 5s device with IMEI of 358805053170932,the device is brought from US ,And now currently in india ,the device carrier is Locked with US network provider Cricketer ,i did the country unlocking of the device but still the device showing the sim card is not valid what can i do to use the device
