How do I hide my apps in the iTunes store?

When I hover over the app I want to hide with my mouse the X that is supposed to appear on the left top corner never does and when I right click on the cloud in the top right corner of the app, nothing happens either. I've tried clicking on the cloud, but that only re-downloads the app. Has anyone dealt with this? Would love to figure this out!!
