Apple iphone 4S screen was hanged out (screen struck) while end of call. after i was trying to switch off but it doesn't show any screen. no functioning. plz provide the solution

Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
