iOS 8.1.3 & iphone 6 plus : image edits/crops/styles are gone after import to mbair, iphoto ! (10.10.2)

hi

i changed a serious bunch of images on my iphone 6 plus (latests ios 8.1.3) with the new apple photos editor (lighter/darker/presets:chrome, process, transfer/styles/cropping),

after importing the images with my lightning cable (mbair 10.10.2, latest iphoto), all changes are gone! i see the original, uncropped, and all orig. colors. is that a bug? it makes no sense. any workaround please? frustrating...

solution is exract your pics froms windows

right click on your device in my computer and import image and videos

sorry i dont understand:

"exract your pics froms windows" which app do you mean?

"right click on your device in my computer" in itunes?

i use the default automated import: when i plugin my iphone into my macbook air, it opens iphoto and imports the images.
