Hi, I have a Macbook Pro, with a fully functioning OEM mag adapter, that won't power up the laptop. When it's plugged in, there are no lights on the adapter either. Can anyone please advise ? Thanks

Many thanks for your reply. I did check out those pages prior to posting, but still not sure what the problem could be. Wondering if it's a faulty magsafe card, or a faulty motherboard. Might have to go to the Apple shop...
How do you know the mag safe cord in fully functional. Did you try it on another MBP or Macbook? When plugged in they light up unless faulty or your dc in board is not making a connection with the logic board.
