Using 2 Apple TVs 1st generation

Using 2 Apple TVs 1st generation

I do have a question concerning the use of using multiple Apple TVs. Is it possible to have 2 Apple TVs on the same wireless network using Airplay, etc? I do have a 1st generation Apple TV currently and may have the opportunity to add another 1st generation Apple TV to a 2nd television. Can they co-exist? Or can one 1st generation Apple TV co-exist with a newer generation Apple TV?

Mac mini, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5), 8 gb RAM

yeah give them different names though and of cause Apple TV 1g don't support airplay at all it only support airtunes which is the audio part of airplay and it only works from computers with itunes it does not work from ios devices
