Mac Pro behaves strange after cleaning/vacuuming

hi,

i cleaned my mac pro (6,1 2013) yesterday.

i've done it very carefully from distance with the vacuum cleaner. i never touched the graphic cards or the memory.

after that the machine worked fine the whole night and i shut it down later.

the first start up today was weird. first i heard the chime and after that the screen stayaed black, after that i heard few chimes after another. maybe 4 alltogether.

after that grey screen and again black screen with chime folowed by finaly a successful startup.

everything seemed fine, but after a while i realised that the system runs very slow.

i made a restart, it just went black again. no chime?

i made hard shut down with the power button.

normal start up folowed but again very slow experience?

turned off everything and opened the cover to check if everything sits in place. this time i just removed the memory and SSD and cleaned again with air.

after that everything seems to work fine and fast as it used to be.

my question is:

could something be damaged after the vacuum cleaning. i read some dreadfull post about it:(

is there some harware test i could run, to determinate if something is wrong?

many thanks!

mladen

- Run Apple Hardware test:

Using Apple Hardware Test

- Go to Finder>Applications>Utilities and Open the COnsole app and look for log entries at the times of the problems. Post suspicious log entries here-

- Repair the Startup Disk via Disk utility and not any errors fixed.

If you go to Apple icon in upper left>About this Mac>System Report>Memory does it say OK by each DIMM?

thanks lllaass!

actually after cleaning and reinserting the RAM modules yesterday i had no issues.

is this clearly memory failure or could be something else?

is it possible that the modules were not inserted good after the first vacuuming and that was the reason for the failure?

although i didn't pull out the modules only opened the release mechanism and pushed it back after i was done.

maybe i didn't push them enough?
