Apple TV loses WiFi connection within minutes?

My Apple TV starts losing my WiFi connection within minutes.

All my other devices, Apple and non-Apple, don't have this problem.

I have tried all the following options:

  • Reset on Modem/Router. No luck
  • Resetting Aple TV, done this several times. No luck at all.
  • Update Apple TV to latest software version. No luck.
  • Restoring Apple TV to default settings. No luck

Then when searching about this problem, I found the following:

Apple has informed its official retail stores, AppleCare employees, and authorized resellers that a small number of third-generation Apple TV units have WiFi issues. These issues surround not being able to locate a WiFi network, unable to join a network, and dropped or intermittent connections.

?

According to the document, affected units will have a serial number ending in DRHN, and the third and fourth characters of the serial number must contain one of these pairs: H9, HC, HD, HF, HG, HH, HJ, HK, HL, HM, HN, HP, HQ, HR, HT, HV, HW, HX, J1, J2, J3, J4, J5, J6, J7, J8, J9.

So I checked my Apple-TV and my serial ends with DRHN and the third and forth characters are HM

Can anyone from Apple confirm this?

Can I still go to the apple store and replace my Apple-TV

AppleTV 2, iOS 8.1.3
