Does it appear if you press thr F3 key?
Yes it does!!!
See the text of the dialog box. You have two documents with the same name. This causes a conflict with cells and formulas in your work book.
Quit Excel.
Do a Spotlight search for the document(s).
Delete the one that is the oldest or unwanted version.
Restart Excel.

Unfortunately the fix didn't work but I think that's my fault. I gave you the wrong error message. Its not what you had above but "Reopening will cause any changes you made to be discarded. Do you want to reopen the 2015 CHP schedule current .xlsx?"
Does that make any difference?
Open the file, save it under a different name.
Restart Excel.
Open the new file up and see if you can make changes on it that will 'stick'.
