Installing App Store updates (Logic etc)

I am currently using softwareupdate -i -a to keep a bunch (around 12) iMacs up to date.
They are a set of Logic editing and sequencing stations.

I can run OS updates via Unix, but for App Store purchases (i.e. Logic) I need to go round the machines individually and update via the local App store.

Is there any way to push these updates onto all machines?

I could update one and copy the Application between machines using remote desktop into the Apps folder but these seems like a bit of a bodgX

Have Unix, ARD3, Server App available if it can be done with any of these.
