Ipod Charging Issue?

I have a 4th Gen Ipod touch, and whenever I go to turn it on it'll show the low battery sign and that it needs to be plugged in.. Even when I plug it in the charger it will turn on for a few minutes and turn back off but with the charging battery symbol.. I don't think my chargers are the problem since they work with my other device. I tried putting it in Recovery Mode, and I saw a white flashing screen and then it went back to the usual charging battery symbol..I've tried connecting it to itunes but nothing seems to work, any suggestions or ideas as to what might be going on with my ipod? Help needed ASAP!!😐🙂
