Can't get email

I have the iPhone 6 and I can't get my email. It says "checking" and then "updated" but nothing new appears. I have tried the trouble shooting listed on apple website, but it didn't work. I also deleted the email account and and readded it but still same problem. I even tried resetting phone, still not working.
