iCloud incorrectly merged iPhone and Outlook contacts

Dear All,

I have iPhone 4s 16gb, iOS 6.1.3. I recently installed iCloud and setup sync contacts with Outlook 2010 (where I had some contacts from my Nokia).

Issue is, after syncing with iCloud, my contacts at both Outlook and iPhone get synced with error: some contacts got merged with another contacts. I.e. if I had John Doe with mobile number 1234 and Mike Turtle with home number 3432, now I have John Doe Mike with 1234, 3432 and other numbers.

I tried to revert from local iTunes backup, but backup contains the same corrupted contacts database.

Question: how i can restore my contacts on (at least) iPhone to prior state?

P.S.

What I can say that as a user of Nokia, I never faced such issue (Nokia Suite, Ovi Suite, etc never failed me so much):

- many backup versions (actually you can select how many, default if my memory serves me right - 5)

- software asks when there questions regarding contacts merge and sync

What I think now that may be iphone with iOS was good software+hardware together, but iTunes and iCloud software is not good enough to be smart and useful, at least not now.
