syncing devices through icloud that have different email addresses

I have an ipad and an iphone. the ipad does not have wifi so i assume I will not be able to synch it to icloud, is this correct. My iphone is set up with another email address then my icloud account is set up with. My phone obviously does whave wifi. I cant get it to sync with icloud because the email addresses are different.
