You get 1 year w/ the purchase of an Mac Pro (You're in the MacBook Pro forum btw.) , which can be extended to 3 years with the purchase of AppleCare. The extension must be purchased before the original year is out. If the original year just ran out you might talk someone into extending it but the longer you wait the less chance.
