brother printer mfc-j45510dw print setting quit unexpectedly

Hello all

i have some problem with my brother printer mfc-j45510dw.

i have contact the support of brother and they say that is a apple issue.

i have os 10.9.5 macbook pro 2.4 GHz Intel Core i5 / 8 GB

when i go to print setting and i want to adjust the quality of printing, photo|normal| fast print it always quit.

this is on all program ( adobe, word, preview )

here is where the issue happen

i have already try

- reinstall the driver.

- reset printer in system preferences / printer and scanner

- check with other printer but they di not have this option it was lazer printer.
