iPhone 6 specific album playback issue

I have an album in ITunes that plays properly on my PC desktop, however when transferred to my iPhone 6 64g, it cuts off each song with about a minute left on the track and starts playing the audio from the next track, however the song info does not update or switch over to the next track and the progress bar and time are still counting as if the song is still playing properly.

I have removed the album from my phone by deleting it directly from my phone and not iTunes. I then resynced the album to my phone from iTunes and the issue still remains.

Anyone else experience this or have any ideas to remedy?
