Markers inside Markers?

Hi

I'm working on a non-musical sound design project involving long field recordings. I want to create 2 levels or types of markers. One for discrete audio events (i.e. a siren) that sit inside (2) longer, marked files. I want to create like a Parent marker that outlines large chunks. I know I could break apart files and put them into different tracks (i.e. 10 minutes of calm street, 10 minutes of busy street, each on a separate track) but there is so much i'll end up having a lot of tracks, and i'm hoping to avoid that. So is there some way to nestle markers or hit points inside a larger Marker range?
