I want to unlock my iphone 4s but orange want to charge me £20 to do this, which seems expensive. Does anyone know a cheaper or easier way?

I have an iphone 4s which i would like to sell as i have upgraded to an iphone 6. Orange want to charge me £20.42 to do this, does anyone know if there is a cheaper way but reliable way to do it?

There is one, and only one way to officially, permanently and reliably unlock an iPhone. That is to request an unlock from the carrier it is locked to and have them process that request. If they charge you to do it, then, well. It is what it is. But there is no other non-hack method to unlock an iPhone.
