Pages & iWorks
I have both the 09 version of iWorks (Pages and Numbers) and the new version of both Numbers and Pages on my iMac. Can I just delete the old 09 version of both programs? Will it trash my older files?
Deleting the '09 iWork apps won't do anything to your files, but you should seriously consider keeping those apps & backup copies of any files. The new versions of Pages & Numbers will "trash" your files. There are so many features in the '09 versions that are not supported in the new versions that files are irretrievably damaged when opened by the new versions.
